77 RULES
Written by J.W. Wheeler
DO NOT READ THIS BOOK WHILE EATING, IT IS A CHOKING HAZARD!!!!
This novel tells the hilarious tale of the senior year of high school for the Class of 1977 in Canton, Illinois. It picks up the story ten years after the author’s first novel, Cubs v Cardinals. As with that book, it tells a classic American story of small town Midwestern culture, with the twist being that it is told from the perspective of one of the few black members of the student body, Jimmy Williams.
The humor is vulgar, raucous, timeless, supremely sophomoric and there is a lesson embedded in every joke. If you can read it and not laugh out loud at least once, please contact the author for a refund. Be advised, you will be tested. It is very doubtful you can make it to the start of the first chapter without cracking up.
As a bonus, included are two essays, guaranteed to score a B from any high school literature teacher who has not read this book, and of course guaranteed to score an F if they have.
Enjoy, and never forget, 77 RULES!!!!
