J. W. Wheeler is currently writing a series of novels based on his life and times. The first book of the series, titled Cubs v Cardinals, is the story of an eight-year-old boy named Jimmy Williams and the events leading up to and including his first little league baseball game. The second, titled 77 Rules, is the story of the senior year of high school for many of the same characters in the first book. The third, titled Three Pointers, unfolds four years later, during his last semester of college, even though it spans many years of his life. The fourth and fifth are in work, titled Erotic City, about single life in the early 1980’s in Chicago, and I Work for Mike Hawk, a corporate comedy and travelogue which describes his working life. Look for them in 2020 and 2021.

Cubs v Cardinals, 77 Rules, and Three Pointers are available on Amazon.com, Kindle, the CreateSpace e-Store, and other online book sellers now.
